HOW TO STOP COMPARING YOUR LIFE TO OTHERS
If you’ve ever compared yourself to someone else and felt like you “lost” then you know that comparison really is the thief of joy. It’s such a common thing to compare our lives – what we have, where we live, where we vacation – to those around us. It’s certainly nothing new to try to “keep up” with your neighbors and friends. However, it does nothing but leave you depressed.
The issue is deeper than just feeling depressed, though. While the sadness that comes from comparison is not fun to feel it also tends to drain you of any energy you might have had to work on your life to get it to be where you want it to be. So now you’re miserable AND you don’t want to do anything about it.
Comparison is so common and starts so young that we rarely even notice that we are doing it until it’s too late and we’ve destroyed our good feelings and self esteem. But in order to take back control of our own happiness, we must stop comparing. It’s easy said than done.
In this video I’m giving you 5 ways that you can use to stop comparing yourself to others.
And I’m giving you the absolute best way, right off the bat – avoiding your triggers. I’m teaching you how to figure out what starts you down the comparison road, and how to steer yourself away from it.
